Yes, preorder deadline for the upcoming week is Friday at 5pm by phone and online, preorder deadline is Sunday at 5pm. If items are left in your cart after the deadline, an order will be processed.
Our current delivery days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Delivery days are determined according to zip code and local delivery fee starts at $8.  You may also opt to become a "pick-up" customer.  
Yes. Deliveries require a minimum order of $30 before tax/delivery charge.
Yes, for all deliveries there is a non-refundable $12 set-up fee which will be applied to your first delivery.
You can manage your meal planning and place your orders online and if you are not online we have paper menus and you simply give us a call at 860-533-0588 to place your order.  Phone-in ordering deadline is Friday at 5:00pm. On-line ordering deadline is Sunday at 5pm.
No, each delivery comes in our proprietary insulated box with frozen ice blankets and is designed to be temperature stable for up to 6 hours. Also, each delivery box is secured with a tamper evident band. Delivery boxes should be placed in a covered spot protected from the sun and inclement weather. We will make arrangements with you as to the predetermined spot; front door, back door, garage, porch etc. 
Immediately give us a call at 860-533-0588 and we will do our very best to rectify it.
We currently accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and AmEx. You may set up you credit card information online through your own account.  You may also leave a check in your empty October Kitchen delivery box for the driver to take away. If you have a gift certificate to apply to your account simply give us a call and we will "fund" your account with the amount. 
Please do NOT ever throw away, break down or destroy the delivery boxes, insulation or ice blankets. On your next delivery day, leave the empty box in the designated spot and our driver will take away the empty and leave you your new delivery.
Yes, however, while wheat or other gluten containing ingredients may not be an ingredient in our products, all of our items are produced in the same area where products containing wheat or glutenous items are created. Though best practices are used in the manufacturing of our goods, inadvertent cross-contamination may occur.  
All products are produced in a facility and on equipment that also processes wheat, soy, milk, eggs and gluten items.
